The hotline has been operating
for more than a year now and is widely used by the Chinese
community for checking commodities that may or may not be
brought into New Zealand. Please remember to ring the hotline
if you are going overseas. This will help you avoid any unnecessary
hassle when going through Customs.
If your items have been retained by Customs or MAP at the
airport for further investigation, make sure to fill in your
name, address and telephone number in the form provided. This
is important in case the goods are confirmed safe and can
be returned to the owner.
