The Chinese community seldom
swim in the sea as the water here is very cold. To take
up a great challenge, CCET organised a snorkelling trip
at Goat Island Marine Reserve on 24 November. The response
was great and 70 people joined the trip. Greenlane Dive
HQ sponsored instructors, snorkelling gear for some
40 people go into the water. For most of them, it was
an unforgettable first time experience. In the afternoon,
honorary wardens Tony and Jenny Enderby and marine advocate
Samara Sutherland brought the group to the rocky platforms
for a biodiversity treasure hunt. |
