Department of Conservation and Auckland Regional Council senior archaeologists Dave Veart and Ian Lawlor led more than 90 CCET members on a landmark walk around Mangere Mountain. Everybody learned about the history of this well-preserved volcano and enjoyed the trip. After lunch, the participants went for a coastal walk at Ambury Park.
